7 tips to Build A Better e-Com Site

Internet is a very different sales medium with a mix of characteristics of both direct and retail sales.Developers and Webmasters have to learn new skills and attitudes to be successful.

I had been going through a lot of news, books and collected some point of my own analysis. So while designing your own site website specially if it is B2B or B2C or for your clients you might have to see to a lot of issues to make it a different site.

So here are some tips from some experienced , some news and some of my views.Just one line(dont want to make the post boring)

1 Choose the right domain name Dont give a techblog name like “jojo”.

2 Avoid too many Ads: Dont make the visitors feel they accidentally landed elsewhere.

3 Have Clear idea about 3p’s : Details about Price, Payment, and Prices must be very clear. You dont want to get sued for not telling how much was it.

4 Integrate Your Promotional Campaigns: Promote the site all around the world.Invest in good ad campaigns like google. They might be costly but it can bring you customers
.
5 Include Variety of Transport mode: Being a b2b or b2c site, you should have different kind of ways people can get your porduct.Shipping, by air.Make it possible that it gets delievered to customers at door step.

6 Make a secured website: If you dont have security people will loose money once while trading with you but you will loose customers forever and trust me bad words spread very fast.

7 Try Multiple Languages: Give you site an internationalized look.Customers from any country should be able to read what you are selleing. This will increase your global market.
