Ashish,

A version of my computer art with arrows, do you think?

A bit of a brain puzzler, one requires knowledge to understand it.

It is an impressive looking diagram.

One wonders where it will all end.

Bill Gates won't be doing too much worrying I shouldn't think.

Good role model for greed and excess, which I'm trying to get into, having learned to do poverty and deprivation exceptionally well, even having sought it.

MS caters for the average and the most, these others are addressing specifics, aren't they?

Virus writers could be the CIA of the open source world I guess...

@Darno : Thx for visiting!.

@Darno and @Ahmed: Actually virus writers can be any body.Open source doesnt mean that are againts anybody, but they dont want anything to patent, They want people to grow and learn.Open source communities grow fast but there could be lack of co-ordination.

Secondly MS main advantage is co-ordination.They make a product good though it may have bugs but thats also present in Open source people.

Windows is more targetable coz of its architecture.There are very few or may be non viruses for linux or unix.Its because they dont allow it to happen on lower level.

But now there are new concepts ocming up for virus detection.They are detecting virus (not microsoft) on basis of intention.You can read about in my tech blog here
